Cally is a native of Columbia, Maryland.  She began playing horn in 6th Grade and studied with Bruce Moore of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.  Cally earned a degree in Music Education from Duquesne University where she studied with William Caballero of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.  She is currently the instrumental music teacher at Northfield Elementary School in Ellicott City.  She also performs and is a member of the Columbia Orchestra, the Spires Brass Band, and the Columbia Chamber Winds.  She has played for Toby’s Dinner Theater and the Dundalk Community Theater.  She has made appearances with the City Music Center Orchestra, JCC Orchestra, Duquesne Brass Quintet, and Steele City Brass Quintet of Pittsburgh; the Howard County Ballet Orchestra; and the Collin Raye Orchestra.  Cally also has an active private studio serving many of Howard County’s public school bands.
