Chris Wolf, trombone

Chris Wolf is a Maryland native performing as a freelance trombonist in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. Currently in his last semester studying music at the University of Maryland, Chris will be pursuing a master of music degree at Juilliard starting in the fall. His teachers past and present include Baltimore Symphony principal trombonist Chris Dudley, former Metropolitan Opera Orchestra principal trombonist Per Brevig, and former National Symphony principal trombonist Milt Stevens.

Recent career highlights include performances with the National Philharmonic at the Strathmore Music Center and with the Choral Arts Society of Washington at the Kennedy Center. Recent honors include a fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival and School and twice placing as a finalist in University of Maryland’s Concerto Competition.
